Should I File A Vioxx Lawsuit?

Most of us have heard of the new diet pill that has been causing so much controversy lately - Vioxx. This new drug that you may be familiar with is also known by its trade name as Lipitor. The reason for this is that this product contains a chemical called Allopurinol.

Although Vioxx was used to help lower cholesterol, it was discovered that the ingredient Allopurinol was capable of altering a persons normal levels of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. Serotonin and dopamine are essential neurotransmitters in our brains, and if these chemicals are altered, then there can be serious negative consequences.

So why did Vioxx have these effects on my brain? In most cases, when people have changes made to their brain chemistry, their normal cognitive and emotional functions are affected in one way or another, which is why Vioxx was so dangerous.

If I file a Vioxx lawsuit, I will seek compensation for the emotional and mental anguish I suffered as a result of the change in my brain experienced from Vioxx. I will also seek compensation for any pain or suffering that resulted from this change in brain chemistry. However, in my case, my attorney will also seek compensation based on the fact that my body is unable to process the Allopurinol anymore.

The reason for this change in my body is due to an increase in the production of the hormone cortisol. Cortisol is responsible for keeping the levels of serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine within a safe, but manageable range. When the levels of these chemicals are increased, then there is a corresponding rise in blood pressure, a decrease in the ability to think rationally, a decreased feeling of well-being, and a decrease in energy and stamina.

If I file a Vioxx lawsuit, my attorney will seek compensation for the physical, emotional, and mental suffering I suffered as a result of my change in brain chemistry. In addition, if my attorney were to win a settlement, I would be able to get money for all of the suffering that resulted from my health condition.

One of the most important aspects of my lawsuit is that the company that manufactures Vioxx must be held responsible for its negligence. I believe that because Vioxx is currently under the control of generic pharmaceutical companies, the company is trying to avoid being held liable for any potential damage. caused by the use of Vioxx.

If the generic companies were found to be responsible, I believe they would be forced to pay out millions of dollars in damages to my client and their family. They could be forced to change the ingredients that they use in the manufacturing process of Vioxx, or they could be sued for allowing Vioxx to be used in the first place. Both of these possibilities could cause severe financial disaster to both my client and his or her family.

Should I file a Vioxx lawsuit? This is a difficult question to answer, but I believe the answer is yes. The more research I do into Vioxx, the more I am convinced that a lawsuit is the only way to go.
